 Christmas
is upon us, and though it may mean a time of abundance in joy,
giving and receiving for many of us, there are countless children
around the world who have never experienced what we can so easily
take for granted.

With our
commitment to the Abana B'umwami Children in Rwanda, we have been
able to bless them the past two Christmases with essentials such as
bathing buckets and mattresses.

RWANDA MISSION TRIP 2007
In
January 2007, Karalyn Meeh and Melissa Minnix left for
seven months to Rwanda where they came alongside Pastor
Francis and his church in serving the children of ABC.

ABANA
B'UMWAMI CHILDREN
Limitless Boundaries, in
coordination with CCLH and Pastor Francis’ church in Rwanda have
begun a child sponsorship program in Rwanda where we are having an
opportunity to invest in the future generations being raised up and
taught in the ways of the Lord.
There are currently
160 children being
sponsored through Limitless Boundaries and the program continues to
grow ministering to many more.
Abana B'umwami was established in 2005 years ago at Christ Gospel
Fellowship Church in Kigali through Pastor Francis, to provide the
children in the surrounding community with spiritual and physical
growth, and a chance to receive an education they wouldn’t otherwise
be able to afford.
Through a monthly
sponsorship commitment, participants are providing for these
children the following:
~ Tuition, school supplies, and other necessities.
~ Christ Gospel Fellowship Church nurtures the child's
spiritual growth through Sunday school, Saturday fellowship, and
mentorship.
~ Families develop a personal relationship with the children
through prayer and communication.
The children qualifying for participation in the Abana B'umwami
Children foundation include the following:
~ Children orphaned by genocide, AIDS, or natural death;
~ Children whose parents are infected with HIV/AIDS;
~ Children living in severe poverty and/or victims of domestic
violence.
The Vision of Pastor Francis for these children is based on the
command of Jesus to let the little children come to Him. Foundation
Abana Bumwami exists to provide holistic support to the orphaned and
marginalized children of Rwanda, and to provide them with
spiritual, social, mental, emotional, and material support, so that
they can:
~ Experience a loving relationship with the Lord Jesus
~ Become responsible adults
~ Become servant leaders of today and tomorrow
