- Our
friend Teophile, who is a veterinarian’s assistant, came to
our house to give Simba his vaccinations =(
Prayer
Requests:
*Please pray
for Uwimanimpaye Fredausi, an 8-month old baby boy who had fluid
in his skull. He has undergone surgery, but has remained
in the hospital since January 25. He is not progressing as
well as hoped. Please also pray for God's financial
provision, because the church has assumed responsibility for the
hospital bills.
*Etienne, the
assistant pastor to Francis, has contracted malaria.
Please pray for his recovery.
*We are beginning
our English classes this week.
Please pray for us, as we feel inadequate for the task!
*One of our
sponsored children, Christian Abeho, has been suffering from a
skin condition on his mouth that is so painful he cannot smile
or laugh. He has seen several doctors and attempted
numerous treatments, but nothing seems to solve the problem.
Please pray for God's miraculous healing!
*There will be a
Pastor's Conference here February 20-24. Please pray for
all those who will be attending, including Jason Stead, Bob
Dominguez, and Francel Esquivel from CCLH.
*The two boys who
live behind the church are in need of a new living situation.
Please pray that the Lord would give them a new home near the
church.
Praises:
*God has provided
curriculum for our English class, which takes a huge burden off
of us. We are thankful for His continued faithfulness!
*Simon and Claude
have volunteered to help with the English classes. They
desire to continue the program after we leave.
*We were able to
listen to the entire CCLH Sunday service live on the internet!
