Prayer Requests:

*One of our children, Elisee, fell from a tree and has sustained a skull fracture and muscle contusion.  Pray for his recovery.

ABC Children Infected with HIV/AIDS

These beautiful children are innocent victims of the devastating disease that has claimed so many lives around the world.  Though are all receiving medication and are currently doing well, they are more susceptible to complications with common infections.  This leaves them tired and weak and makes school more difficult.  Please pray for them, that the Lord would provide for all of their needs.

Smiles in the Midst of Suffering

  Claude Nsabimana, 14, has had a difficult life. His mother died and his father was presumed killed in the genocide. Claude and his sister Claudine, 16, lived on their own in a small house outside Kimironko. Last year, their father showed up at home.  They learned that he had been in prison for participation in the genocide. The father was rearrested one week later, again leaving Claude and Claudine to fend for themselves.  Recently, Claudine ran off and got married leaving Claude completely alone. Claude showed up at church a few weeks ago to let us know his situation. Since then we've been doing what we can for him. His other sister has also come to stay with him.

New Children's Facility

The building project is well underway.  We are thrilled with the amount of progress that has already been made.  These classrooms will be a permanent addition to the church, but the need still exists for a large meeting room where children's church services can be held each Sunday.
